Why We Exist
The Graphic Design Police operate mainly within Harrogate Grammar School but we have responsibilites as far away as Ripon to the North, York to the East and Otley to the South.
Formed in early 2002 we now have six full time inspectors and an increasing number of part time community asisstants.
Wherever the Laws of Graphic Design are broken we will take action and make sure that no poor publications get out into the world. We never hesitate to use our graphic design prison if we need to, but often a serious talking to works wonders.
Whenever you make a publication or a piece of artwork on a computer think of the laws. If you think carefully about what you are doing and why, you have nothing to fear from the police. Break the laws too often, or treat them with contempt and you never know when an inspector might call.
