Monotype Corsiva
- keeping you safe from bad design
Since time immemorial the Graphic Design Police have maintained a prison to keep the public safe from truly bad design. Our prison at Monotype Corsiva has a 15 ft perimeter wall and so far there have been no escapes. As part of their punishment inmates undergo regular bouts of justification and re-alignment which usually leads to a sense of clarity.
We have capacity for 200 inmates and have a secure wing where long time inmates can be kept in a text and image free environment illuminated only by bright white light.
We exist to punish but also to reform people, who may in the future once
more make valuable contributions to graphic design. Some people are beyond
help and we usually let them see out their time making adverts for car
boot sales and miracle diets. You can sometimes see their work on the
signs at
roundabouts.
